The Make Magazine article on Lost & Foundry is now a PDF (that I stole from Nemo Gould) Have a read, it’s pretty swell :)

The pic is a bit wonky, but so is the space at the moment. I decided to build a new workbench in the very end of the studio - 30”x96”. Once it is all fastened and cantilevered I will be surrounded on 3 sides by work surface.

Wall progress. Installed one sheet of OSB (got it up there all by myself too)(last time I try that) Have to custom cut the next piece, and get it up there next. Off to look at some windows for the end wall now so I can finish it up asap.

Here is how the space looked at the start of work today. I added 16 feet of storage rack on the right. By the time I was done that whole floor space was cleared out and I had the end wall framed up and ready to sheath.

Finally getting back to posting things here - it’s been way too long. I am currently moving my studio within Lost & Foundry (about 75 feet to the South) This is the mezzanine I am moving onto and under, just before I started building a couple walls and moving my stuff over.

Christopher T Palmer makes stuff, teaches people to make stuff, collects junk and turns it into something (or gives it to people who will) writes about making stuff, and whatever other fun mayhem he can get away with. Email him - ctp at ctpdesign dot com - if you feel like it.
